Recently, I took the 7:45 Paris Lo-Ellen bus to the Four Corner to my dentist.
As I walked away from the bus, I realized that at some point, one of my gloves had escaped. I hoped that it had landed on the seat I had occupied.
On the return trip, I needed the other bus to connect to see my mother in hospital, but just before that, the Paris Lo-Ellen bus was on its second return trip.
Popping in to ask that driver about lost and found, he rattled off the number for me, and a woman out of my visual range, stepped up and asked if "this" was mine. I expressed a hearty thank you and the bus went off.
Is this an Earth-shattering issue? The kind I usually comment upon? No, of course not. But it is important as a sign of "we are all in this together."
A big thank you to that woman, and it was my luck she was not focused on her cell or tablet.
