I see on TV that the Toronto police are conducting a traffic blitz on noisy cars and motorcycles.
It's about time we did that, too.
The kids replace the muffler that came with the car with performance mufflers that were made for racing cars on a race track, not city streets.
The motorcycle owners remove the baffles from the mufflers to make the noise. Pea-sized brains equate noise with power and speed.
I ask why, as citizens, do we have to put up with this noise all hours of day and night?
I am sure I am not alone in this complaint. It's time for the people of the city to demand noise enforcement under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario and bring back some peace and quiet to this great city.
