We are pleased to share news of an exciting change taking place at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Sudbury-Manitoulin Chapter, in 2018.

To be more efficient and reduce our costs, we will be relocating our offices within Sudbury. We will keep our service users and the public posted as more information becomes available.

The MS Society of Canada, Sudbury-Manitoulin Chapter, will still be very active in the community, and high-quality programs and services for people affected by MS in the region will continue to be provided uninterrupted.

The MS Society extends its thanks to its many volunteers and members in Sudbury. Having a space for people living in the same community to meet and connect is a value we hold deeply, and we will ensure that we make this an important factor in our search for a location.

We welcome and encourage input on potential new office locations and possible sites in the community to hold MS Society core programs and activities. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to provide your input.

We wish to acknowledge that our current location at 2750 Bancroft Dr. has served many valuable purposes over years. It was acquired through exceptional volunteer efforts, and volunteers have taken great pride in maintaining it over the years. Over time, as the property has aged, and as the ways in which the MS Society delivers programs has evolved, it has become necessary to carefully evaluate the suitability and sustainability of our current location.

Ultimately, this change will allow the MS Society to invest more into research that focuses on improving quality of life for people who are deeply affected by MS in areas such as finding a cure, repairing nerve damage, reversing the effects of MS, treatments and symptom management.

Those who are affected by MS and have questions about the relocation, you can connect with MS Society staff at 1-800-268-7582 ext. 3347. For any other MS-related questions, please call 1-844-859-6789 or email [email protected]
