For once, Mother Nature smiled on us, gave her blessing to us as we could not have had a more beautiful weather on May 12 to mark Finlandia Village’s Mayfair 2018.
All in all, it was a great day with lots of visitors and more vendors than before.
A lot of work goes into having a successful Mayfair.
The following poem is our way of saying kiitos/thank you to the countless volunteers for their invaluable contribution; to the various organizations and individuals who supported us by renting tables or giving a donation:
With gratitude in our hearts
For your contributions to our cause,
We want to say thank you / kiitos to you
As our personal round of applause.
The credit for our Mayfair success
Firmly rests with wonderful people like you.

We also want to acknowledge all the visitors, old and new, who came to do some shopping, meet friends and family and have a taste of Finnish culture.
