Letter: Painting lines during morning rush hour grinds driver's gears

Shows total disregard for efficient traffic flow

Last week, thousands of people were late for work or appointments.

During the 8:30 a.m. morning rush hour on The Kingsway, vehicles were backed up from downtown to
Falconbridge Highway When I finally got to the point of the obstacle, I was shocked.

Why? City crews were painting crosswalk lines on the S curve.

Total disregard for the safe and efficient passage of emergency vehicles and traffic flow.

Come on, folks, use your heads for more than just hat racks.
