My family and I moved into an apartment last year.
It's our first place on our own. We previously lived with at husband's parents' place.
At Christmas time last year, our landlord noticed we didn't have a tree. Just a little ceramic tree with lights that my grandma made.
So our landlord and his family had an extra tree fake tree and gave it to us. Not only did he set it up for us, but he gave us a gift card to go buy all the decorations and lights and stuff we needed for the tree and also gave us a little plug-in heater for our daughter in case she gets cold.
I've never had someone do something like that for me. I love the landlords we have, and I don't know how I could ever thank them for being so kind to my family.
