I find it hypocritical of the Roman Catholic
Church to speak about its responsibility to uphold ethical and
moral values (not to mention the sanctity of
marriage), when the church refuses to grant
survivors of clergy abuse recognition of the damage done, a
public apology and meaningful restitution.
No amount of money can compensate for any
survivor's lost childhood or for repercussions that will last
well into adult years.
