I am writing in response to professor David
Robinson's recent column in Northern Life.
The provincial government's mindset of the
north is that we are nothing more than a revenue source to feed
the economic machine of the southern, provincial economy.
We are treated like the "fishing pelican,"
only to release our catch to our masters because the noose
around our neck prevents us from enjoying the fruits of our
labour.
The north provides so much revenue for the
south that the north should be given a dividend check at the
end of the year.
