Why do my taxes pay for the city's snow
grader to block my driveway?
That's illegal - yes, it's illegal to block
the driveway, but only in Sudbury can the city get away with
it.
I had a mini-stroke last April. Perhaps
instead of starvation in "hospitals" city hall can get rid of
us seniors sooner by (making) us shovel snow.
I phoned Ward 6 Councillor Lynne Reynolds and
the public works department, and the answer was hash, hash,
hash but no meat and potatoes.
If they are looking for ways to save money,
cut out the sidewalks in Sudbury.
Only in Sudbury does the water meter reader
walk across the lawns from house to house and in front of
windows.
Only in Sudbury does the letter carrier walk
across the lawns, over the flower beds, from house to
house.
Only in Sudbury can the city pile up salted
snow on to our lawns.
