I am amazed information carried in the Feb.
14, edition (about the Solicitor General's comments to the
JoeMac Committee) has not been responded to by anyone. I
suppose this indicates readers have become so hardened to the
ineptitude of the federal government that they are no longer
shocked . The attitude of the Solicitor General is
acknowledgement of the following:
Government does not run or control its
departments; the departments are run absolutely by the
bureaucrats.
The crooks, supported by a variety of
interest groups, have taken over the penal system.
Convicted criminals are living better in
"Club Fed" than they had ever lived in civilian life or better
than the average Canadian.
The victims of crime are ignored.
In conclusion, when the minister responsible
shrugs his shoulders and says "I cannot do anything with this,"
it is a blatant admission of his total failure of
responsibility. These are points to ponder.
