Richie is my friend, a really great person,
and an "all-equal" stepfather.
Picture a 19-year-old, giving up his parties
and his friends to become part of our family. I was six, my
brother was two, and my mom was 26. Who in the
world could do that? Well, there is one
person and that is my stepfather.
He turned our whole life around by being able
to move us away so he could go to college and better himself.
Then, he made sure me and my brother did not get spoiled.
One of the best things about him is that I
can actually talk to him and joke around. So I guess you can
call him one of my best friends.
But, on the another hand, he gets pretty
serious when I screw up in school or mouth off. These are the
times I just want him to go away, but then I think
of how life just wouldn't be the same without
him?
Now, Richie is 25. We just bought our first
house. I don't think it could really get any better.
So Richie, all I really want to tell you when
you're eating the breakfast in bed (that I helped to make) is
Happy Father's Day, and we love you.
