While serving a customer at our store in Val
Caron last Saturday, I was stunned to hear her say she was
sorry the store was "going under." Previously, a few customers
had asked whether the store was closing as we are having a
clearance sale. Allow me to set the record straight. The store,
operated by St. Kevin's Conference of the Society of St.
Vincent de Paul in Val Caron, is open from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday
to Saturday, and will remain open for a long time to come. We
are in the process of renovating to make our store brighter,
cleaner, more accessible and more customer-friendly.
