Susan Hay, who got her start on television in Sudbury before moving to Global Television, will speak at 1 pm today (Sunday. Jan. 23) at Laurentian University's Fraser Auditorium.

Hay will share her personal experiences of a 23-year career in broadcasting and highlights from her recent visit to Mozambique.

Joining her will be Canadian musicians Michel, Fabian, and Alliston Lwamba, one of three brothers who perform in the band Krystaal.

The brothers are from the Democratic Republic of Congo. They found hope in music and use the art form to raise awareness and share that hope with children who have undergone similar situations.

This free event is sponsored by World Vision, an international Christian humanitarian relief and development organization. It works in more than 90 countries helping approximately 85 million people each year. Canadians sponsor more than 310,000 children through World Vision.
