I wish Northern Life would stop giving ear to Richard Paquette.

This is his third letter in the paper in a very short time span ranting against the city regarding animal services.

I am sure that the city would not have considered taking over exceptionally delivered animal services. I am not angry with the city, but rather pleased at their courage in taking this step along with changes to the limits to numbers of pets people can own and encouraging spaying/neutering of pets.

It can already be seen that the city is taking positive steps dealing with this situation in a wholesome manner. I have hope that we can work with the city to ensure that our homeless and lost companion animals are treated in the best, most compassionate and humane manner.

And I do not mind if some more of my tax dollars are used for contributing towards that.
