It is with great anticipation, grudging
admiration and unmitigated glee that northerners await the
grand opening of the new Niagara Falls casino and gaming
complex. It appears as though the bureaucratic bunglers who
make these decisions have smiled benignly upon the city hall
fathers in Niagara Falls.
One wonders if these nameless, faceless,
unsmiling, non-benevolent bureaucrats could see it upon
themselves to perhaps, maybe smile as benignly upon Sudbury and
re-instate our poor little Porketta bingo and thus infuse our
city with a great tourist attraction, similar, but vastly
smaller than the gaming casinos in Niagara Falls. Cha
ching!
