I was interested to read the article about the new website
to  assist immigrants coming to Ontario.
As someone who moved to Sudbury from the United Kingdom last
year, I know research is key when it comes to making a
successful transition, and  so any new initiatives such as
this are very much to be welcomed.
In terms of Ontario, there's very much a need to encourage
new  immigrants to look beyond the GTA and it is hoped
that highlighting areas such as Sudbury will help in achieving
this.
It seems that most people outside of Canada just aren't aware of Sudbury and Northern Ontario at all, and yet this area offers fantastic opportunities for skilled workers and business people thinking of moving to Canada.
I've recently set up my own website to assist newcomers
and  prospective Canadian immigrants, so I hope that from
reading about my experiences, other immigrants will realize
that Northern Ontario is a great place in which to live.
