Woman says thanks - Carolyn McEachern

A couple of weeks ago my shoulder bag slipped off my shoulder in front of Jarrett Value 2 at 105 Durham Street. An honest employee by the name of Trudy Deighton found it on the street and phoned me to ask me if I had lost something.

A couple of weeks ago my shoulder bag slipped off my shoulder in front of Jarrett Value 2 at 105 Durham Street. An honest employee by the name of Trudy Deighton found it on the street and phoned me to ask me if I had lost something.

I had just finished spending two days retracing my steps and was so happy to hear from her. I told her to take the money inside my purse for a reward and when I went to pick it up all was intact. I just wanted to let Sudburians know that there are still lots of good, honest people in our midst in spite of all the greed we experience in our world around us.
