The Motley Kitchen presents the 2017 winner of the Juno award for Blues Album of the Year, Paul Reddick, to open the New Year in its Dinner and a Show series on Thursday, Jan. 18.

He will perform as a duo, with his vocals and harmonica accompanied by Greg Cockerill on guitar.

Melding poetry, mystery, darkness and light, along with an extensive knowledge of the history and traditions of blues music is what makes Reddick one of the most popular figures on the blues and roots music scene today, said a press release.

For more than 25 years he’s been writing and performing his eclectic brand of blues, bringing the art form to new frontiers with his rapacious, deep vocals, masterful harmonica playing and song writing.

Dinner and entertainment combined is $55 including HST. Show-only seats are $20 each. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the buffet dinner served at 6:30 p.m. and the show approximately from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reserve now to assure good seats and dinner by phoning 705-222-6685.
