Make a date with your friends and family for a fish and chips lunch on Saturday, March 29 at Anke and Tony Teklenburg's Seafood Restaurant on Long Lake Road (at the Four Corners). They are supporting the Sudbury branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association by offering a Fish and Chips lunch, from 11 am to 3 pm, with proceeds going to help those with mental illness in our community. Have a great lunch and support a great cause. Reservations are recommended, please call 523-4567.

Learn basic computer skills

The Sudbury libraries are offering free basic computer skills training to seniors and other adults in Sudbury and area.
One-on-one training is available at the Main, Azilda, Capreol, Chelmsford, Coniston, Copper Cliff, Dowling, Garson, Levack/Onaping, Lively, New Sudbury, South End and Valley East Public Libraries.

Free income tax preparation

United Way/Centraide Sudbury in partnership with Canada Revenue Agency, will be offering free income tax preparation for eligible clients until April 23.
The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program will be located at United Way/Centraide, 105 Elm Street Unit E-6.
Onsite tax preparation or drop off service will be available through April 23.

Hours are:
Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - 8:30 am to 3 pm.
Thursdays - 8:30 am to 8 pm.
Fridays - 8:30 am to noon.

Clients are asked to bring their notice of assessment from the previous year. For further information call 669-1494.
