The Walden Lion's Club recently held their annual toll gate.
Over $1,500 was collected to be donated to Walden charities. The Lion's Club would like to extend their thanks to the Walden residents who contributed to the success.
"We would like to extend our appreciation to Walden Home Hardware and Independent Grocers giving us permission to set up at their door," they stated in a press release.
The Walden Lion's Club also donates $1,000 a month to the Walden Food Bank.
For more information on the Lions, join in on a meeting, held the first and third Wednesday of each month, starting in September until June.
