The Canadian Mental Health Association is hosting its 7th Annual Art in Bloom fundraiser in the gardens at 169 David St. in Sudbury June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Art in Bloom is an eclectic gathering of superb artists and crafts-people in a beautiful garden setting. The event will feature displays of original art by local artists. Artwork will include paintings, garden items, pottery, soaps, and jewelry. Master Gardeners will also be on hand to answer gardening questions.

Proceeds from the event will directly impact the lives of those living with serious mental illnesses in our community along with the many ongoing programs offered by CMHA Sudbury. The association relies on financial support from individuals, foundations, government and the corporate sector.

Art in Bloom allows participants to enjoy a lovely strawberry social, great entertainment and view one-of-a-kind artwork, while contributing to a good cause.

For further information contact Michelle Whalen, Canadian Mental Health Association, Art in Bloom Committee, at 562-7323. Tickets are available at Black Cat, Artists on Elgin, Backyard Birder Nature Shop and CMHA (Sudbury Branch). Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
