As part of its annual concert series, on Nov. 7, Cambrian College’s School of Music presents an evening with Amy Hillis, one of Canada’s most versatile and vibrant violinists.
Hillis is an esteemed multi-award winning musician. Most recently, she was the winner of the Canada-wide 2018 Eckhardt-Gramatté Music Competition.
She will be joined by special guest, Katherine Dowling, on the piano.
The program includes works by composers from across Canada including Carmen Braden, Jeffrey Ryan, R. Murray Schafer, Nicole Lizée, Dinuk Wijeratne, and Alice Ping Yee Ho.
The concert takes place starting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening in the amphitheatre, room 2226, at Cambrian College.
Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for students and seniors, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets will be available at the door.
