Bel Canto Chorus presents its spring concert, “British Invasion!”, Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3. The concert takes place at 7:30 p.m. both evenings at St. Andrew's Place downtown.

The chorus is celebrating music from across the pond, including works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Beatles, conducted by Pamela Teed and accompanied by Suzanne Roy-Wilson.  A particular inspiration and delight is Queen's “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

Special guests are the Young Sudbury Singers, who will add some joyful innocence to a medley of the musical Oliver, “Circle of Life” from the Lion King, and John Rutter’s “I Believe in Springtime,” as well as singing some of their own repertoire.

Tickets cost $20 each.

Advance tickets are available at Jett Landry Music and Grove’s Your Independent Grocer, or call 705-561-8413. Visit www.belcantochorus.ca.
