Billy Talent to play Sudbury Arena

The Juno award-winning Canadian band Billy Talent has announced that Sudbury will be one of the stops on its 2010 tour of the country.

The band will play at the Sudbury Arena March 23, 2010. Tickets go on sale Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.

Billy Talent will be joined by special guests Alexisonfire and Against Me.

The band consists of Ben Kowalewicz (lead vocals), Ian D'Sa (lead guitar and backing vocals), Jon Gallant (bass guitar and backing vocalist) and Aaron Solowoniuk (drums and percussion).

The musical group, which was formerly known as Pezz, formed in 1993 in Streetsville, Ontario. The band renamed itself Billy Talent after running into legal trouble with the old name.
