Cambrian chef students win with mushroom recipe

Sudbury Northern Life 

First year Cambrian College chef students Jamie Boyle, Jeff Roberts and Samantha Ryan served up a winning recipe and took first place at the second annual Make it with Mushrooms Student Chef Challenge in Guelph on Nov. 27.

As members of the winning team, the students from Cambrian were named Make it with Mushrooms Masters and received certificates recognizing their achievement, as well as a $1,500 grant for their program and $1,500 for the team.

The winning recipe, as well as all of the recipes submitted to the Make it with Mushrooms Student Chef Challenge, will be posted on the Mushrooms Canada website at www.mushrooms.ca .
