Cambrian College public relations, post-graduate students held a concert featuring three local artists on February 20, 2008 to raise funds and collect clothing for the Canadian Diabetes Association.

The event titled "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Show," was held at the Cambrian student centre, On the Rocks, and raised more than $350 and collected 25 bags of clothing to donate to the Clothesline division of the CDA.

"We felt as a class that the event could truly help create awareness for the Canadian Diabetes Association, Clothesline initiative," said Natalie Tarini, a public relations post-graduate student. As part of the student's curriculum they are required to plan and host an event of their choice in a six-week time frame.
