The Dialysis Diva's at HRSRH have put together several "fun"draising events to raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation's CIBC Run for the Cure.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is an extraordinary single-day experience that unites Canadians in 56 communities across the country. Together, people raise millions of dollars to fund innovative and relevant breast cancer research, education, and awareness programs in the communities where they live. This year marks the 17th year of this nationwide event.

The following "fun"draising events will be held at the Laurentian site of HRSRH.

Sept. 25 - Soup and chili lunch takeout from 11:15 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Lunch includes: soup or chili with roll, cheese and crackers, dessert and coffee. All items homemade.

Sept. 25 - Highlights for Hope from 2 - 4 p.m.
In room 606. Add a pink highlight to your locks for $20 (takes approximately five minutes). Appointments recommended by calling or e-mailing Mary Katherine Coady at 523-7100 ext. 3428.

Sept. 26 - Bras for a Cause in the Renal Unit.
Judging will be held around 2 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available for a handmade quilt or autographed framed picture of Bobby Orr. Other fundraising items also available for sale.

Sept. 30 - Belgium waffle breakfast from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
