The Downtown Sudbury Art Crawl returns Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Twenty downtown venues welcome you to visit exhibits by local artists, free of charge. The Art Crawl offers citizens the opportunity to celebrate all that is local.
Some studios will also have goods for sale, as well as pop up musical performances throughout the afternoon.
The Sudbury Arts Council will kick off the event at 10 a.m. with a booth at the Greater Sudbury Market, which also opens this day, where visitors can grab a paintbrush and leave their mark on this year’s community-made mandala.

Featuring “Emergence” exhibition composed of works of art from secondary school students of the Rainbow District School Board, the Sudbury District Catholic School Board, le conseil scolaire publique du Grand Nord de l'Ontario and le conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario.
2. Artist Loft on Larch, 2nd floor at Apple Cart Collectables – 280 Larch St.
Featuring special guest artists.

Featuring artist Helen Townsend.
4. Laughing Buddha Offsite Venue (Art Gallery of Sudbury / Galerie d’art de Sudbury) – 194 Elgin St. Featuring a painting exhibition by Carmen Martorella.
5. Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario – 174 Elgin St.
Featuring “Lips of one thousand nine hundred ninety six teachers” by Patrick Cruz (on view through June 28).

Featuring artwork by Tamara Gagnon, Big Turtle Woman (Turtle Clan). Working with various mediums such as clay, acrylic and the written word, her work is inspired by nature, community and healing.

Featuring special guest artist(s). In addition, a special up to 15-minute project will be available to create on site ($20/person–please inquire directly).
