Easter Seals Telethon co-hosts Lynne Raven and Scott Overton will join Easter Seals Ambassadors Tyler Prevost, 9, and Nicole Vachon, 13, this Sunday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. live at the eDome for the 26th annual Easter Seals Telethon.
CBC and affiliate broadcasters will air the telethon, featuring
local and national celebrities and entertainment.
Families will talk about the challenges and rewards of raising children and youth with physical disabilities. A number of celebrity hosts will engage viewers throughout the day.
It costs $40,000 a year to care for a child with a severe disability. Families rely on Easter Seals to help purchase expensive equipment needed for mobility and communication, send kids to camp and other recreational programs.
Participating retailers across Ontario are offering Paper Eggs for $2 until April 13. For more information go to www.easterseals.org .
