(NC) The first day of school stirs a mixture of emotions in children -without feeling ill-equipped by not having the essential supplies to begin the school year.
What can we do to help support the children who can't afford to
begin the school year on equal footing with their classmates?
Staples/Business Depot is hosting its annual school supply drive in every store between Aug. 13 and Sept. 23, with donations being distributed through schools to children in need across Canada. Shoppers will find designated collection bins at every store location, where they can donate any extra school supplies to the drive.
Not only do many children in communities across Canada benefit
from this generous program, we all stand to benefit in the end
when our children are provided with every educational
advantage.
