The Sudbury Charities Foundation's Annual Christmas Festival of Lights will kick off on the grounds of Science North  this evening (Friday) at 6 pm.
Santa Claus will arrive via a Fire Pumper Truck from the
City of Greater Sudbury's fire department to officially
light the thousands of twinkling lights that adorn the Science
North grounds. Santa's sleigh is being tuned up for the big
journey in 3-1/2 weeks, so he had to hitch a ride.
The lights will run daily through to Sunday, Jan. 7.
Donations from visitors are gratefully accepted and will be
used to help underprivileged children in our community.
Hours of operations open to the public are Sundays through
Thursdays - between 5-11 pm, Fridays and Saturdays between 5 pm
and 1 am and Dec. 24, 25 and 31 between 5 pm and 1 am.
