Natalie MacMaster will play in North Bay Dec. 6 at the Capitol Theatre. She will also play in Barrie Dec. 8. The fiddler is on a cross-country tour in support of her 10th album, Yours Truly.
She is  an ambassador of traditional East Coast music.
In 2002, MacMaster married fellow fiddle virtuoso Donnell Leahy
of the famed Canadian band Leahy, and in 2005 the couple has
their first child, Mary Frances Rose.
MacMaster first picked up the fiddle at age nine. She is the
niece of famed Cape Breton fiddler Buddy MacMaster (with whom
she recorded a tribute album in 2005).
