Franco-Ontarian storytelling series runs Oct. 11 to 16 at Place des arts

From Oct. 11-16, the Centre franco-ontarien de folklore (CFOF) presents the sixth edition of the festival Les vieux m'ont conté... leurs voyages (My elders told me…about their travels.)

The Centre franco-ontarien de folklore focuses on Franco-Ontarian heritage conservation, continuing the work of Father Germain Lemieux and his mission is to collect, preserve and promote Franco-Ontarian oral heritage.

Several shows are planned at Place des Arts with the presence of amateur and renowned storytellers. It will also be the occasion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of CFOF.

There are several shows to see as part of the festival, all held at Place des arts. 

On Oct. 13, the festival will celebrate 50 years of CFOF, les vieux m'ont souvent conté. You can find ticket information here

On Oct. 14, enjoy Échappée belle, tales from Africa and elsewhere, with more information found here.
