Frank Labelle and Mark Lemieux promise a special show Friday at the Grand.

Sudbury born and raised, Frank Labelle will take to the stage at the Grand Nightclub Friday, Dec. 7 to release his debut CD titled T.E.C.H. (The Evolution Control Hacker).

With his long-time friend and drummer Mark Lemieux, they formed the Group C696.

Sudbury's Big Daddy 103.9 is the official sponsor of the event which begins at 8:30 pm.

T.E.C.H C696 is a nine-song high-energy, thought-provoking look at our quick-paced ever-changing way of modern life. The single Move has brought about quite a surprise as it became PBR's (Professional Bull Riders) theme song in 2006-07. It has aired many times on the Fox Network and continues to gain popularity with its latest release in Canada. This is definitely New Rock with a taste of wisdom and hard knocks.

To see and hear more about these songs, visit www.C696move.com for a sneak preview. Tickets for the CD launch are available online and can be purchased at Guitar Clinic, Prom Music, Jet Landry Music and Records on Wheels.
