Froche 2007 takes place on three stages

Le Froche is La Slague's presentation of contemporary francophone culture Wednesday through Saturday.

Du Theatre de Roches brulees will be presented at Le Theatre du Nouvel-Ontario, 25 Lasalle Blvd. tonight to Saturday at 8 pm. This is the story of two clowns. Fred is Franco. Crudo is an Anglo learning French. This production is directed by John Turner, better known as Smoot in the duo Mump and Smoot. Tickets are $22 for adults, $15 for students.

Dumas will entertain at Market Square at 9 pm on Friday. Dumas is a charismatic showman oozing with sex appeal that can electrify audiences, offering two hours of high energy. His album, Le cours des jours, sold 50,000 copies.

Konflict Dramatik will launch its newest CD at the Towne House Tavern Saturday evening. Tickets are $7 at the door. All Froche shows are presented in collaboration with College Boreal, l'Association des etudiantes francophones de l'Universite Laurentienne and the College Boreal student association.
