Sudburian Tara-Lee Godfrey has turned a passion for gift
giving into a new business called Jars 'n Kisses.
"Basically, it is gift jars (from the size of jam jars to
two-gallon jars) that are filled for any occasion, beautifully
packaged with ribbons and tags and then delivered to that
special someone," explained Godfrey.
She added that each jar is filled uniquely based on what the
client wants, and the age and gender of the person to whom the
jar is being sent.
Godfrey explained she will make jars to commemorate any
occasion, including Halloween, birthdays, Christmas,
Valentine's Day and more.
"I even do wedding proposals," she added. "(A person) can also
order special items, such as gift cards from certain places.
For example, if someone wanted to include a gift card for a
teen's favorite clothing store or to the movies, I'd include
the card with the amount they requested."
Godfrey's business is home-based. She currently works full-time
at Child Care Resources as an instructor therapist with
children who have autism.
