Kennel Club hosts Dog Show in Coniston

The Nickel District Kennel Club hosted a Dog Show at the Coniston Arena last weekend. Over 1,000 dogs competed from across Canada, United States and some as far as overseas.

The Nickel District Kennel Club hosted a Dog Show at the Coniston Arena last weekend.

Over 1,000 dogs competed from across Canada, United States and some as far as overseas.

Spectators came to watch the competitions and see the different breeds of dogs.

clip Thirteen judges from across Canada, including one from Mexico, judged the competitions during the four-day event.

Some of the awards included Best Dog, Best Puppy and Junior Handling.

Vendors sold dog food, supplies, art and jewelery at booths during the show.
