The Greater Sudbury Public Library recognizes the importance of literacy by presenting Family Story Times, a contribution to the development of a child's love of reading and learning.

This interactive and fun program is offered in English, French and French Immersion. It runs every week for a half-hour and is intended for children aged five and under.

The Story Time program is designed to help develop a child's appreciation of language, rhythm and imagination through storytelling, puppetry, songs, finger plays and rhymes. Adult caregivers are encouraged to participate with the children in all aspects of the program.

Saturday Family Story Time is offered monthly in English and French Immersion from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the main branch, 74 MacKenzie St., for children birth to seven years of age accompanied by an adult.

For more information visit the library or contact Monique Roy at 673-1155 ext. 270.
