Since 1988, the Sudbury Horticultural Society has planted and maintained the gardens at the corner of Paris and John Streets in conjunction with the City of Greater Sudbury.
Now the gardens have a new feature — a Little Gardening Library.
Jessica Watts from the Greater Sudbury Public Library will be on hand at 10 a.m. June 19 to dedicate the little library.
The society will stock the library with gardening magazines and books, which will be available for loan throughout the gardening season each year.
Members are holding a drop-in event at the gardens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 19.
