Sudbury Northern Life

Lively District Secondary School (LDSS) is celebrating 50+ years. The reunion will be held on May 15 to 17, 2009. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit LDSS students.

The reunion is open to recent graduates and those whose memories of high school may be a little foggy.

Mary Purvis, of the organizing committee said "We are going to welcome Hawks of all memory capacities on the Victoria Day weekend. And we do know that if you attended Lively High, your memories must be great ones."

The LDSS reunion committee is looking for people to register as soon as possible and also needs volunteers for the event. The reunion will involve the entire community from Anderson Farm to the high school.

There will be a meet and greet/dance two nights at the arena, memorabilia displays at the school, a Sunday brunch, golf tournament and interactive displays at the Anderson Farm.

For more information or to sign up, past and present students can contact Mary Purvis at [email protected] , call 692-3747 or e-mail Tannys Laughren at [email protected] .
