Valley East born tenor Joey Niceforo, a member of  Destino with Paul Ouellete and Leon Leontaridis have been appointed to represent Canada by performing at the World Olympics in Beijing China on Aug. 8.
Niceforo and Destino, now Vancouver residents, will be performing in Sudbury on Nov.  14 and 15 at the Glad Tidings Hall on Regent Street. The charitable concert is sponsored by the Sudbury - Club Richelieu.
The tenors will also be guest on Canada  AM, July 14.
Destino has appeared on ET Canada recently, which will be available for viewing on the group's website in the near future.
Their debut studio album, Forte, was released on July 8 and is available in stores across Canada. It is also available for download on iTunes, beginning July 15.
