On June 5, Grammy award winning rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges brings his southern rap to northern Ontario at the Sudbury Arena.

Tickets go on sale April 17 at 10 a.m. and will range from $39.50 to $79.50 in price. Concert doors open at 6:30 p.m. Phone 671-3000.

Bridges has won a number of awards for his work on stage and on the silver screen.

He's racked up three Grammies, two BET awards, three MTV video music awards and even a Screen Actor's Guild award for his performance in the 2005 Academy Award Winner for Best Picture, Crash.

Bridges has released six studio albums as Ludacris, three of which have debuted at #1 on the Billboard chart.

Past singles have been "Rollout (My Business)," "Area Codes," "Stand Up," "Number One Spot," "Pimpin' All Over The World" and "Runaway Love."

His latest album, Theatre of the Mind, features a collection of songs conceptualized to sound like scenes from movies. A follow-up, titled Theatre of the Mind II, is in the works for a 2009 release.
