The Wild at Heart Refuge Centre is teaming up with the Southridge Mall to celebrate Earth Month.

From April 24 to 27, a variety of earth-friendly displays will be set-up at the Southridge Mall. The mall, which is not charging the organizations to set-up, will also be handing out canvas shopping bags, with donations being accepted for Wild at Heart.

Organizations with displays include Wild at Heart Refuge Centre, the Canadian Diabetes Association, Nickel District Conservation Authority, Sudbury Hydro, Habitat for Humanity, Friends of Roxborough Greenbelt, Earthcare Sudbury, Eat Local Sudbury, Junction Creek and the Greater Sudbury Environmental Network.

The Wild at Heart Refuge Centre is a non-profit charity focused on veterinary treatment and the rehabilitation of wildlife, so that they may be returned to their natural habitat.

The organization is operated by volunteers, with the support of individuals and organizations in the community.
