Queen's Athletic Field will explode this evening with the sound of music as Sudbury's Blue Saints Drum and Bugle Corps, and Drum Corps International host the Yamaha Spectacle of Sound.

Yamaha Spectacle of Sound is an extravaganza featuring Corps from Canada, the U.S. and the Netherlands.   Those participating in this marching musical exhibition include Sudbury's own Blue Saints;  Dutch Boy (Kitchener, Ont.); Raiders (Kearny, N.J.); Beatrix (Hiversum, Holland); Legends (Portage, Mich.); and Les Stentors (Serbrooke, Que.).

watch video clip The annual Drum Corps International Summer Tour encompasses more than 135 events throughout North America entertaining more than 400,000 fans. The Yamaha Spectacle of Sound leads up to the 2008 Drum Corps International Championships to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana in August.

Tickets are available at Black Cat, Prom Music Centre, Gloria's Convenience, Octave Music, Jett Landry Music, or by calling 674-8468. Adult admission $10, youth aged 10 - 18 years $5, and children under 10 free. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and showtime starts at 6:30 p.m.
