Movies are back! Sudbury's three cinemas are open and ready to go

With fewer people permitted inside, movie-lovers won't have to wait in line for popcorn!

All movie theatres in the city have now reopened.

After the most recent provincial shutdown, which began on Boxing Day, SilverCity Cinemas in Sudbury reopened its doors on Feb. 26. For current showtimes and to purchase your tickets, visit cineplex.com 

Nickel City's two other movie theatre locations — Downtown Movie Lounge and Sudbury Indie Cinema — are both already open.

Sudbury Indie Cinema. the only arthouse theatre in the North, opened its doors Feb. 16. Find info and showtimes here.

Downtown Movie Lounge is open as well. It is located in the Elm Place shopping centre (formerly the Rainbow Centre). You can find info and showtimes here.
