Sudbury's Christian radio station, CJTK, will once again be
hosting a concert at the CPR Train Station in Elgin St. as the
Holiday Christmas Train makes another appearance in downtown
Sudbury.
In an effort to help raise food and awareness for the Sudbury
Food Bank, CJTK is sponsoring a two-hour concert leading up to
the arrival of the Christmas Train on Tuesday, Dec. 5. The live
outdoor concert will begin at 7:30 and there will be live radio
reports from the CPR train starting at 7 pm.
The main concert will begin around 9:30 pm.
A total of eight local artists and groups will be performing
holiday favourites during the concert.
Parents with small children will not have to wait and wonder
just what time the train will arrive as they can follow the
live reports as the train makes its way from Parry Sound to
Sudbury.
Everyone is welcome to come out and people are encouraged to
bring non-perishable food items, while enjoying free hot
chocolate and the wonderful entertainment, all of which will be
provided free of charge.
CJTK can he heard locally at 95.5 FM in Greater Sudbury.
