Nash publishes collection of poems

Roger Nash,  a philosophy professor  at Laurentian University and former president of the League of Canadian Poets, has published a collection of his work called Something Blue and Flying Upwards, New and Selected Poems.

The launch for the book will be held Thursday, Oct, 26 at the Marguerite Lougheed Community Centre, 328 Albert St., at 7 pm.

Nash and another Sudbury writer will be signing copies of their books at Chapters on The Kingsway, Saturday, Nov. 11.

Colin Hayward, a theatre production professor at Cambrian College, has published a book called OtherTimes, Other Places, Twenty Stories.The stories are set in such diverse locales as San Diego, California, Sri Lanka, Bali, Indonesia, Thailand, Greece, Mexico, Italy, London, Portugal, Costa Rica and various locations in Canada.

The launch party for his book will be held Thursday, Nov. 2  at Minnow Lake Legion, 1553 Weller St. at 7 pm.
Both books are published by Your Scrivener Press of Sudbury.
