New Year's Eve Family Fun Day at Science North

Families can celebrate the New Year together at Science North with New Year's Eve Family Fun Day. This special event is being held on Dec. 31 from 11 am to 5 pm and is presented by Science North and 105.3 EZ Rock.

Families can celebrate the New Year together at Science North with New Year's Eve Family Fun Day. This special event is being held on Dec. 31 from 11 am to 5 pm and is presented by Science North and 105.3 EZ Rock.

A daytime format means parents can celebrate the start of 2008 during the day with their kids and still be able to go out and have fun on their own in the evening, said a news release.

Events at Science North include:
·Get up close and personal with "Crocodilians of the World" including the star of Little Ray's Reptile Zoo show, a 7ft a alligator named "Lady Chompsalot".
·Swim alongside alligators with the IMAX® film Hurricane on the Bayou! Experience IMAX* and Virtual Voyages Adventure Rides* at special savings. (*separate ticket price applies to these attractions)
·Explore the special exhibition Fatal Attraction and discover the laws of "animal attraction".
·Plant a tree for 2008, build a motorized reindeer, experience live science shows, make-and-take workshops, computer gaming tournaments and more.
·New Year's Eve countdown and balloon drop.

Until December 20: Members**: $10, Public $15, plus GST
After December 20: Members**: $15, Public $20, plus GST

** Science North Members' free admission benefit does not apply on Dec. 31 due to enhanced programming. Science North Members receive a discount on tickets to this event.
