Northern Lights Festival Boréal presents repeat festival performer Rose-Erin Stokes at Little Montreal Bar & Deli Jan. 27, where she'll be launching her debut album.
Sudbury’s own Jennifer Holub will also share some songs to celebrate the occasion.
Stokes has performed at the Northern Lights festival both solo, and with her Canadian Folk Music Award nominated group Hidden Roots Collective.
“We’re thrilled to present Rose as she takes this next step on her musical journey,” said Max Merrifield, executive/artistic director of Northern Lights Festival Boréal.
“Her music is sweet yet somehow a little haunting, with emotive lyrics that can really move you. With Jennifer Holub on the bill too, we are bound to hear some of the finest folk music out of Northern Ontario.”
Tickets are $10, available at the door and in advance at nlfb.ca/rstokes. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. The format is mostly table seating with some standing room.
