Fans of Halloween won't have to wait until October to celebrate their favourite holiday.

Northern Screams Attractions has created a new attraction called the "Nightmare at the Freak Show Museum" along with a family-friendly event to celebrate Halfway to Halloween May 3 and 4 at the Carrefour Sen. Rheal Belisle Cultural Centre in Blezard Valley.

"The Freak Show Museum” is a one-of-a-kind indoor haunted attraction that will leave you trembling with fear. Step into a world where creepy clowns and freaks have taken over an abandoned hostel, creating an eerie atmosphere like never before.

This two-day only event is a mashup of Northern Screams award-winning attractions, packed with thrills and chills that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Freak Show Museum will be open from 7-10 p.m. on May 3 and 4.

Not only is Northern Screams Attractions hosting Halfway to Halloween, they are also celebrating World Comic Book Day with a twist from 12-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.

Come dressed as your favourite comic book villain and enjoy a day filled with vintage carnival games, inflatable sports games, and a massive dino maze for the little ones to explore. But the excitement doesn't stop there.

"The Freak Show Museum," will offer a unique lights on, sensory friendly indoor experience during the day.

"Halfway to Halloween is an event that is gaining popularity in Canada and the United States," said Robby Lavoie, owner of Northern Screams, in a press release. "It's been a goal of mine to build this attraction for a while and to see it as an opportunity to tease some ideas for the 2024 Blezard Valley Fields of Fear.”
